Delete your account.

Email info@ajaxfootballclub.com.au from the email address on your account, with “Account deletion request” as the subject.

Sending it from your own address helps us confirm the request is genuinely yours. If you no longer have access to that address, email us anyway and we will verify your identity another way before deleting anything.

You do not need the app installed, and you do not need to be able to sign in, to make this request.

On completing your request we delete:

• your sign-in account, so you can no longer access the member portal;
• your contact and profile details — name, email, phone, address and date of birth;
• your emergency contact details and any medical information you gave us;
• your communication preferences and any notification registrations for your devices; and
• your membership record, subject to the retention below.

Some records cannot be deleted on request, because the Club is required to keep them or needs them to establish or defend a legal claim. These are kept only for as long as the obligation lasts, and are not used for anything else:

• financial and payment records, including tax invoices and receipts, to meet Australian tax and record-keeping obligations;
• records the Club needs for insurance, incident or safety reporting; and
• anything we are required to retain by law or by a governing body of the sport.

Where a record must be kept, we keep the minimum needed and remove or de-identify the rest. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information generally.

We aim to acknowledge your request within 7 days and complete it within 30 days. If it will take longer, we will tell you why and when to expect it.

Deleting your account ends your access to the member portal. If you have a current membership or an active subscription, tell us in the same email whether you also want that cancelled — deleting portal access does not by itself cancel a payment arrangement, and we would rather ask than assume.
